3/13/12 The Curious Researcher Chapter 2

From reading Chapter 2 of The Curious Researcher I have learned how to narrow my search in online databases and even Google to receive more beneficial sources related to my research topic. I had never previously been taught that using conjunction words like 'and' or 'or' could be used in online searches to narrow the search results. I wrote a research paper my junior year of high school and as I would search for articles on my high school library's online database I would constantly type in the same words that were related to my research topic in the search bar and would always end up with the same 20 or so articles. Learning that the conjunction words can be used in searches, I will hopefully have a much easier time finding quality sources for this research paper.
