I read chapter two and three together so I don't remember exactly what exactly was in chapter three and what was in two. But, Ballenger talked about how to paraphrase rather than to state exactly what they say. I will know how to paraphrase and take notes but not state exactly what is in the text. Also, he talked about plagiarism and that you should cite everything. And you should cite somethings even if you are not sure because citing is better than not citing.
