Chapter 3 The Curious Researcher

One thing I learned from reading Chapter 3 of the Cambridge Companion that I will use in my Third paper is how to take notes effectively. Ballenger says that you should not write down as much information as possible. You should write down the information you find relevant, but you should also incorporate your own opinions into the notes, and do a fast write. This will help you remember the information, and at the same time will help you formulate a stronger paper. Ballenger also said that when you are making notes or writing a paper, you should close the book to avoid plagiarizing what the original author said.
