1) Was the author biased?
I do not believe the author of the paper to be biased in one way or another. I think that he just gave us the facts about the history of disco and other music. It was informative and the writer did not take one side or the other.
2)Would anything change if this article was written today instead of twenty years ago?
Yes, this article would be very different. First-off I think that the two music genres would be different. They would also be different people who started it such as rap and hip-hop or pop music. Also, if it was written today there would not be as many stories about the music being banned.
