Questions

1. How can social issues, such as race and religion affect how someone views a certain genre of music? Some people can view different genres of music and people together.  If someone is sincerely racist, they probably won't like genres that they associate with people of different races.
2. Was this a one-time situation/incident or is this going on in any genres today? I'm not really sure if it's going on today to the extent it was, but I know of a lot of stereotypes that are put on people who listen to Christian music, scream-o or any other music that isn't "iTunes Top 100 Material."
