1. In de Deauvoir’s piece, she argues about what women are. She argues about how it seems that “humanity
is male” and women are just relative to men.
2. Reading this definitely helped me think of ideas for my paper. Since we are in Women in America, I planned
on doing my argumentative piece of my paper about gender differences in the
work fields dominated by men. She makes
a lot of good arguments in her piece and maybe I will incorporate some things
into my paper that she said because I'm sure it will be relevant with my subject.
