1. Has disco really died or is it still present today only in a different form?
-Disco is not what it used to be. Today disco has not died but instead it is used in a different way. Disco in its classic form is still with us. Disco was a good way to get people involved in the music, although it is not the same anymore, the overlapping styles that we have now blur together and will still be here in the future.
2. Was music sexist in the 70's?
-I think that music was definitely sexist in the 1970's. In the text there are many examples of this. They refer to disco being associated with black, Latin, or gay people. They also refer to rock-in-roll to real men and techno to gay people. Today, you don't see people hearing a song and judging it based on the sex of people but instead they judge on what they actually hear and if they like it.
