Woman as Other blogpost
de Beauvoir's argument is a little hard to decipher for me. One thing that I noticed she was making very apparent was her thought that women do not classify themselves in one category. This is because women to not categorize to fit them man that is dependent on them. She feels that this is wrong. Her argument is very nuanced, and this was a strong characteristic to her writing. This caused the reader to sort of come across her same opinion on their own. When the writer is not shoving information and opinions down a readers throat, the reader is more likely to agree with the reader on their own. de Beauvoir's argument does not correlate with my argument of my final paper.
