Technology

McDermitt's argument is that technology basically controls us, us being individuals in the world. I do agree with this, I personally could not function without my phone, zune/ipod, and computer. I would go bonkers. I believe that everything today is through technology and without it everyone wouldn't know what to do with themselves.
