The author
is trying to say that we have gotten so obsessed with technology, but not
moving forward, but going backwards instead. I actually do agree with his
argument because although we have come up with a lot of amazing gadgets like
phones and laptops, I feel like we would have been better off without it. We
are becoming a very lazy country. We barely have to do anything anymore. America
is becoming lazier and lazier. I think if you have ever seen the movie Wall-e,
we will end up something like that eventually if we keep progressing in
technology like this.
I agree that the use of technology has gotten so ridiculous, and people are very lazy. Instead of using personal communication skills, such as verbally in real life, we find ourselves only comfortable with texting out important conversations with people. Technology is definitely taking over way too much and only growing faster everyday. I've seen Wall-E and it is a very scary thought about what can happen over time.
