One thing that I took away from this introduction was that there is always room for a good fact. Contrary to popular belief, adding facts doesn't always make your paper boring and uninteresting. More often than not actually, it makes you paper seem legitimate and interesting.
Theories of intelligence ends with the author taking a moment to himself and concentrating on a memory of his younger years on Nantucket Island. He visualizes everything even down to what he was wearing.
