Ch.11 Gender

After reading this chapter of The Cambridge Companion, I didn't necessarily understand Gender that much more. It was not as clear as I thought it would be considering the title of the chapter. They focus mainly how Austen uses romance in her novels, which confused me. They speak about how gender can play a comedic role in romance within Austen's novels. With that being said, it stands out to me with the novel Pride and Prejudice.  Austen uses a humorous vibe when dealing with the relationships in her novel.
