The Curious Researcher Introduction

From reading the introduction of The Curious Researcher, I learned that I should look at writing this research paper as a new opportunity. In high school, writing research papers was a dreaded activity. I never fully learned an effective way to write a decent research paper. From reading the introduction of The Curious Researcher alone, I have already learned new ways to approach this assignment. Previously, I have procrastinated writing research papers until a few days before they were due. Now, by following the five-week plan that Bruce Ballenger outlines in his book I will hopefully write this paper on a planned timeline, resulting in a well thought-out and developed paper.

“Theories of Intelligence/ The Bothersome Beauty of Pigeons” ends with Bruce Ballenger becoming a professor. Throughout the paper he believes that he isn’t as smart as others but in the end he learns to accept to do his best and that “everything will be ok.” He learns to live his life by this statement.
