Chapter 1 The Curious Researcher
The first chapter of The Curious Researcher talks about choosing a topic. The author suggest that you choose a topic you are throughly interested in. I couldn't agree more with this. I would find it extremely difficult to write 6-8 pages on a topic that didn't interest me the least bit. When you write about a topic of interest, your paper will maintain a good consistency and not bore the reader. The author also discusses the difficulty of starting a research paper and suggest that the writer start with general information on the topic and then move into the more detailed and technical aspects of the topic. The information provided in chapter one will help me get started on finding a strategy that will work best with me when beginning to write my research paper.
