How do you understand it better?
I understand more on why Jane chose the characters that she did. When she started describing how at the age of 15 Catherine would curl her hair, and be more into her looks. It made me understand how her characters uses sex. She said how the social interactions of the marriage market which to me seem as she was trying to say by the way you groom and keep yourself up can determine who you marry. It was confusing then again I had to think about when this was written.
