Ch. 1 curious researcher

I found chapter one of The Curious Researcher very helpful. I liked how it was helping know how to pick a good topic and to brainstorm ideas.  It was explaining how you should know something is "researchable".  They were saying the topic should not be too big, or too small.  The topic should raise more questions than a simple answer could be provided.  The topic should provide an approach for the researcher or various ways to answer the question. Most  importantly, Ballenger states, that the topic should interest the researcher.  There is no point in writing about something you find extremely boring.
