"The Broken Mirror" 1/19/12

"The Broken Mirror" was a good literacy autobiography because he used a story from his past about looking at the picture of a home from before he was born. He brought up how much things changed in his homeland but he still considered the past his home instead of the present. He gave a lot of detail about Bombay and gave lots of detail about his childhood. I did not think it was a good literacy autobiography because it did not always keep me in the story. It jumped around too much and it was hard for me to keep everything straight. Overall though I thought it was a good piece.
