I think that it is a good literacy autobiography because the author shows his feeling of nostalgia very good by describing his home in the past. I got very interested in his piece of writing as I am a foreigner as well, so sometimes I can feel exactly what he feels when I come home. I also liked the moment when the author refers to the biblical story of Lot to express emigrants' feeling about leaving their homeland.
As for the disadvantages, I think that the way he wrote it was a little bit confusing to me.
