"The Broken Mirror" January 19, 2012

This was a good literacy autobiography because the author made you feel how he or she actually experienced this. They used a lot of detail and vivid description, along with dates and places. It always showed how the author felt and thought about revisiting India, feeling nostalgic, and trying to remember things in bits and pieces, instead of as a whole memory.
This was not a good literacy autobiography in some ways because it was not clear what the author's literacy was. Instead of describing something the author was good at, it more so just discussed and ended talking about how a lot of emigrants feel bad about leaving their home country.
