"Stone Soup"

Barbra Kingslover is describing her literacy on the topic of Family and Divorce. She uses her knowledge of extended family and of her own experiences to tell her audiences about the ups and downs of a divorced couple. She describes her experiences using an excess of imagery and great rhythm. When I read her piece I thought it was very moving and influential to those who may be going through such a traumatic experience. She makes it easy for readers to relate and understand her. She did an excellent job describing her thoughts and feeling and that is what makes her a great writer.
