The Broken Mirror 1/19/12
"The Broken Mirror" was a good literacy autobiography because it was something meaningful to the author, it was something that he was knowledgeable about and lastly, because he shared the history behind it. Finding the house that was in the photo was meaningful to him because it was part of his history. It is the house that he once lived in when he was younger and it gave him the connection to his father. This is also what made it so meaningful to the author. He wanted to explore his past and learn more about it. He was knowledgable about the house and history, to a certain extent, but he wanted to know more. Overall, I think that this was a good literacy biography. Therefore, there isnt anything that stands out to me that i could make a negative comment about.
