What literacy is Barbara Kingsolver describing in this piece?
The Literacy that Barbara Kingsolver is describing through out this piece is he ability to understand divorce
My reaction to this piece over all was how different her life was is compared to my own, but still functions in almost the same manner as mine. This is largely due to the fact that i am from a family that is not broken family, my parents are happily married and have been for 25 years now, while she was divorced at a younger age. It amazed me at the fact of her understanding after her divorce, since i do not completely comprehend it since i have not gone through something of that magnitude.
