Barbara Kingsolver has a literacy of different types of family and divorce.
My general reaction to this essay is surprised. I really don't know that much about divorce or how people react with it. I didnt realize how hard it is to deal with. Now that I think about it I can see what she is saying when she talks about how peope react to a divorce family. I also didnt know the history of how families were supposed to function.
