Stone Soup

In "Stone Soup" the author talked a lot about family and the values within a family. The literacy of this piece is divorce. Even though she has a "broken family" she did a good job of keeping her family together. My reaction to this story was that many families are considered broken but it doesn't mean that they can't still have a strong family just because of divorce. I disagree with families being broken from divorce because I live in a divorced family and we are all very close and we have a strong family bond.
