Barbara Kingsolver is literate in Family struggles. I related to this piece because I come from a divorced parent family. I thought it was interesting that Kingsolver said this about divorce "everyone who does it could have chosen not to do it." It is easy to think this if you have never experienced divorce, but coming from a divorced family I know it was probably the best decision my parents could have made, although maybe not the easiest.
